Leica M2 US Military Repair Training
This is a repair training book for the Leica M2. It was prepared by Leitz (Leica) as part of a training program that the company created for the US government.
The military purchased a quantity of Leica M2 kits, called the K-15(4) in the government's accounting system, and needed their repair techs trained to service the cameras. This is a well-written and comprehensive manual for repairing the M2 and is probably useful for other M-Series Leicas as well.
We also have the factory service manual for the Leica M2 in the Related Items below. There is also another US Military service manual for the M2, which is for a different set that the military called the KS-15(4).
Please Note: In order to keep the site online, we are now asking $2.58 for each file download, except for tutorials written by members of the Learn Camera Repair Facebook Group, which are $1. After you complete the checkout process, you can log in to your customer account to download all the manuals you have paid for.
For the first five years that we operated this site, we were able to offer all of these manuals as free downloads. The site has gotten so large and popular that we are exceeding the limits of bandwidth and storage imposed by our web host. Please don't share these files; if we do not bring in enough revenue to pay to keep the site online, we will be forced to shut the site down. We've set the price low eough that it won't burden those who want to learn to repair cameras, while hopefully bringing in enough each month to keep the site open. We are not trying to make a profit from this.
