Zeiss Jena Lenses Schematics and Service
This is a factory publication from the post-war east German Carl Zeiss Jena organization. It is a collection of very detailed schematics for many East German Zeiss lenses, used for Pentacon and Praktica cameras. It also includes information on tools used to assemble and service the lenses.
This is in German; we have not found an English version, but it is very interesting. The great technical drawings of the lenses make it worth having even if you cannot read German.
Please Note: In order to keep the site online, we are now asking $2.58 for each file download, except for tutorials written by members of the Learn Camera Repair Facebook Group, which are $1. After you complete the checkout process, you can log in to your customer account to download all the manuals you have paid for.
For the first five years that we operated this site, we were able to offer all of these manuals as free downloads. The site has gotten so large and popular that we are exceeding the limits of bandwidth and storage imposed by our web host. Please don't share these files; if we do not bring in enough revenue to pay to keep the site online, we will be forced to shut the site down. We've set the price low eough that it won't burden those who want to learn to repair cameras, while hopefully bringing in enough each month to keep the site open. We are not trying to make a profit from this.
